Lalit Kumar Verma vs. Dewan Housing Finance

Present: None for the complainant.

                        Today the case was fixed for consideration on the point of jurisdiction. However, despite so many calls none appeared on behalf of complainant. We have perused the contents of the complaint and documents placed on file with the complaint. From the perusal of these documents, it is duly evident that complainant had obtained the loan from OP No.2. i.e. Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Ltd. Karnal and also repaid the entire loan amount to that branch. No such document has been filed by the complainant from which it proves that complainant was having any transaction with Op No.1. It seems that OP No.1 has been impleaded just to create the jurisdiction of this Forum. Hence we have no option except to dismiss the present complaint for want of jurisdiction. Hence, the same is hereby dismissed in default for non appearing of complainant as well as dismissed for want of jurisdiction. Copies of this order be sent to the parties concerned free of costs as per rules. File be consigned to the record room after due compliance.
