  1. We have heard Shri Amit Kumar Srhrivastava, Counsel for the Appellant and Shri Deepak Pant, the respondent who is present in person.
  2. At the outset, Ld. Counsel for the appellant has submitted that the appellant has no grievance as regards compensation/costs of litigation awarded to the respondent/complainant.
  3. It is submitted that the only grievance of the appellant is as regards the direction given to appellant/OP by the District Forum to ensure re-allotment of Registration No. DL-9S-AE-2873 to the respondent/complainant in respect of his bike.
  4. After some arguments, respondent has stated that he will not insist for the directions given by the District Forum for re-allotment of aforesaid registration number to him. The respondent submits that he is satisfied with the registration number already provided to him i.e. DL-9S-AE-3092.
  5. In view of above submission of respondent, the directions given by the District Forum for re-allotment of Registration No. DL-9S-AE-2873 are set aside.
  6. Respondent has submitted that the RC and insurance papers of the motor bike be provided to him.
  7. Ld. Counsel for the appellant has stated that subject to completing the formalities, the needful shall be done.  It is also stated that the compensation amount as awarded shall be paid immediately to the respondent.  As the matter has been amicably sorted out between the parties, the impugned order stands modified as per terms stated above.
  8. Appeal stands disposed of accordingly.
  9. FDR, if any, deposited by the appellant be released after completing due formalities.

 

 

 

 

  1. A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements be forwarded to the parties free of charge and also to the concerned District Forum and thereafter the file be consigned to Record Room.
