ORDER

This revision petition has been filed with a delay of 383 days, which is over and above the statutory period of 90 days given for filing the revision petitioner.  Consumer fora are required to decide the cases in a summary manner within given time frame.  Complaint has to be disposed of within 90 days from the date of filing where no evidence is required to be taken and within 150 days where evidence

-2-

is required to be taken.  The inordinate delay of 383 days cannot be condoned without sufficient cause being shown.  The only cause shown for the delay is that it took a lot of time to arrange for the trial court documents, which were necessary for preparing the case.  The delay of each day has to be explained which the petitioner has failed to do.  We are not satisfied with the cause shown for condonation of delay.  Otherwise also, the delay is more than one year, which is five times over the statutory period given for filing the revision petition.  Even the complaint can be filed within two years from the date of arising of the cause of action.  The delay of more than one year in filing the revision petition cannot be condoned.  Application seeking condonation of delay is dismissed.  Consequently, revision petition is dismissed as barred by time.
