Smt. Shashi Yogeshwar, learned counsel for the appellant is present.

An application has been moved on behalf of the appellant to the effect that the respondent has deposited the electricity bill in the department, which was pending upon him and he has made a compromise with the department that he does not want to execute the impugned judgment and order passed by the District Commission. 

Copy of letter dated 04.08.2022 signed by the respondent – Sh. Dayaram has been attached with the application.

Learned counsel for the appellant states that the appellant does not want to press this appeal, as no amount of electricity bill is due against the respondent.  She further states that the statutory amount deposited by the appellant at the time of preferring this appeal, be released in its favour.

Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed, as not pressed.  The amount deposited by the appellant with this Commission, be released in its favour.
