This is a complaint filed under section 12 of Consumer Protection Act 1986 and the matter stood over to this date for consideration.After hearing the matter the commission passed an order as follows:
This is a complaint filed by the complainant against the opposite parties alleging deficiency in service on the part of the opposite parties. After admitting the complaint notice was issued to the 1st and 2nd opposite parties. The notices issued to the 1st and 2nd opposite parties returned with endorsement ‘addressee left’. Subsequently, the case was adjourned only for taking steps against the 1st and 2nd opposite parties by the complainant. The complainant was continuously absent and has not taken any steps against the 1st and 2nd opposite parties inspite of informing the same from the office of this Commission. In view of the continuous absence of the complainant and the inaction on the part of the complainant in taking steps against the 1st and 2nd opposite party, inspite of giving sufficient opportunities, we find that this is a fit case to be dismissed for default.
In the result the complaint is dismissed. There will be no order as to cost.
A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements be forwarded to the parties free of charge and thereafter the file be consigned to the record room.
