Learned counsel for the petitioner moved application for withdrawal of revision petition with liberty to approach to the appropriate authority. Complainant filed complaint for quashing bill raised on the alleged ground of theft of electricity. Honle Apex Court has held in the case of nis Ahmadthat cases pertaining to theft of electricity are not to be entertained by consumer forum. In such circumstances, application filed by the petitioner is allowed and revision petition stands dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to approach to the appropriate authority under Indian Electricity Act for Redressal of his grievance.
