                                                 The case of the Complainant in brief is that the land line bearing No. 6042253075 was installed by the O.P in his residence. On 28-06-2016 he submitted an application before the O.P to close the connection and the telephone was surrendered by him. Accordingly the telephone connection was disconnected and the attached equipments were taken by the O.P but the O.P failed to refund the security amount to the Complainant in spite of several attempts. Rs.2000/- was deposited as security at the time of the connection of the telephone. Hence, this complaint was filed by him for a direction to the O.P to refund Rs. 2,000/- , the security amount with interest and to award compensation of Rs. 5,000/- towards mental agony due to harassment of the O.P.

                                                The case of the O.P is that the security amount of Rs. 1200/- in connection with the close land line bearing No. 06842-253075 was refunded to the petitioner on 18-08-2017 for which the case may please be closed.

                                                We have heard both the parties and the learned counsel appearing for the Complainant. We have gone through the complaint petition, the version of the O.P and the documents filed by both the parties in support of their case. It is submitted by the O.P that security amount was refunded to the Complainant after obtaining clearance from the Head office for which

there is delay in the payment but the delay is not no more intentional. It is admitted by the Complainant that he has received the security amount from the O.P.

                                                In the above circumstance the complaint filed by the Complainant against the O.P is closed. The C.C is disposed of without any cost. Supply free copies of this order to both the  parties.
