CONSUMER COMPLAINT NO. 1052  OF  2019

ORDER

          At this stage, vide his separate statement, Sh.Pradeep Sharma, Counsel for OP No.1 has stated that the matter has been settled between the parties with the term that OP No.1 shall pay lump sum amount of Rs.33,000/- to the complainants within a period of 30 days from today failing which the OP No.1 shall be liable to pay the aforesaid amount alongwith interest @ 9% p.a. from the date of filing of present consumer complaint and upon the said payment, the membership of the complainants will be cancelled. Vide his separate statement, Sh.V.K.Chadha-Complainant No.2, Husband of Complainant No.1 has admitted the statement of counsel for OP No.1 and prayed that the complaint be disposed of in terms of aforesaid settlement.

          In view of the statement of the parties and in terms of the settlement, the complaint stands disposed of by passing the following order:-

          (i)      The OP No.1 is directed to pay lump sum amount of Rs.33,000/-         to the complainants within a period of 30 days from today and upon the         said payment, the membership of the complainants will be cancelled.

          (ii)      In case the aforesaid amount is not paid by the OP No.1 within   the stipulated period, the OP No.1 shall be liable to pay the aforesaid amount alongwith interest @ 9% p.a. from the date of filing of present      consumer complaint i.e. 06.11.2019.

          The complaint is disposed of accordingly.

          Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned.
