CONSUMER COMPLAINT NO. 855  OF  2022

ORDER

1.        At this stage, the parties have settled the matter. Vide his separate statement, Sh.Pradeep Sharma, Counsel for OPs has stated that the matter has been settled between the parties with the term that OPs shall pay an amount of Rs.1,10,000/- to the complainant, towards full and final settlement in the present complaint, within a period of 30 days from today failing which the OPs shall be liable to pay the aforesaid amount alongwith interest @ 9% p.a. from the date of filing of present consumer complaint. He has further stated that on receipt of the aforesaid payment, the membership of the complainant will stand cancelled. Vide her separate statement, the complainant has admitted the aforesaid statement of counsel for OPs and prayed that the complaint be disposed off in terms of aforesaid settlement.

2.        In view of the statements of the parties and in terms of the settlement, the complaint stands disposed off by passing the following order:-

     (i)  The OPs shall pay an amount of Rs.1,10,000/- to the complainant within a period of 30 days from today i.e. 11.01.2023.

     (ii)   In case OPs fails to pay the aforesaid amount      within the stipulated period, then they shall be liable    to pay the aforesaid amount alongwith interest @ 9%      p.a. from the date of filing of present complaint i.e.     04.10.2022 till its realization.

     (iii)  On payment of the aforesaid amount, the membership     of the complainant will stand cancelled.

3.        The complaint is disposed off accordingly.

4.        Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned.
