Final Order / Judgement

Record is placed before the Lok Adalat as per order dated 11.01.2024 for settlement of the matter.

Both the parties are present. It appears that the complainant filed the instant Consumer Complaint for deficiency in service with the prayer for passing an order of direction to the OPs to refund Rs.79,074/- along with compensation of Rs.40,000/- and litigation cost of Rs.15,000/- in total Rs.1,34,074/-.

It has been submitted by the Ld. Advocate for the OPs that one DD bearing No. 516863 dated 14.12.2023 for Rs.79,074/- was handed over by the OPs to the complainant on 11.01.2024 as per settlement.  The complainant has filed money receipt on 11.01.2024 with an endorsement “received the DD on full satisfaction” thereon. 

In view of the above, it seems to us that the matter has been settled.

Hence, the CDF Unit-II, CC No. 277/2023 is settled and disposed of finally through the Lok Adalat.

Let a copy of this order be supplied to both the parties free of cost with proper endorsement.
