CONSUMER COMPLAINT NO. 796  OF  2022

AWARD

1.   Vide his separate statement recorded on 18.07.2023, Sh.Ajay Sondhi-OP No.2 in person, being Chairman of OP No.1, also on behalf of OP No.3 has stated that the matter has been settled between the parties and as per settlement, the OPs shall pay a lumpsum amount of Rs.27,000/- to the complainants within a period of 21 days from 18.07.2023 in full and final settlement of the present matter, failing which the OPs shall be liable to pay the aforesaid amount alongwith interest @ 12% p.a. from the date of filing of present consumer complaint. It has been further stated by him that the aforesaid payment shall be made through Google Pay. Vide his separate statement recorded on 18.07.2023, Sh.Harjinder Singh-Complainant No.2 in person, being Father/Natural Guardian of Complainant No.1 being minor, has admitted the aforesaid statement made on behalf of OPs and prayed that the complaint be disposed of in terms of aforesaid settlement. He has given his Google Pay number 9872665649.

2.        In view of the statements of the parties and in terms of the settlement, the complaint stands disposed of by passing the following order:-

     (i)  The OPs shall pay a lumpsum amount of Rs.27,000/- to      the complainants within a period of 21 days from    18.07.2023.

     (ii) In case OPs fail to pay the aforesaid amount    within the stipulated period, then OPs shall be liable to pay the aforesaid amount alongwith interest @ 12% p.a.     from the date of filing of present consumer complaint     i.e. 09.09.2022 till its realization.

3.        The award is accordingly passed.

4.        Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned.
