ORDER

Complaint is partly allowed. Both the credit cards bearing numbers 55461999767560006 and 4550389381614018 shall be deemed to be have been closed with effect from 27.12.2004. All service charges etc., claimed after that date under the various heads on these credit cards are quashed. The O.P. is liable to pay Rs.8000/- as damages adn Rs.2000/- as cost to the complainant within two months from the date of this order failing which he shall be liable to pay interest at 10% p.a. on the amount awarded as damages till the date of payment. This order is without prejudice to the rights of the parties to any claim of the O.P. under the two credit cards for their was prior to 27.12.2004. Send this copy of the order to the O.P. by RPAD and to the complainant under COP.
