In the matter of: Complaint under section 10 of J&K Consumer Protection Act 1987.

 

L/Cs for the parties present.

                                                                       ORDER

 

                     Today L/Cs for both the parties have moved a joint application before this Forum for the mutual settlement of claim pending before this Forum. In the said application it has been agreed that the insurer shall settle the claim of the complainant @ Rs.2.20 lac as full and final subject to the condition that the complainant shall furnish certified copies of    RC,Route Permit, Fitness Certificate, FIR and Final Police Report of the vehicle which is subject matter of the complaint bearing registration No.JK02L-8425 and the OP Insurance Company undertakes to pay the award amount of Rs.2.20 lac as full and final on receipt of above mentioned documents within a period of one month. In support of the said agreement, statements of L/Cs for the parties have been reduced into writing and the same has been taken on record.

                   Hence in terms of mutual  agreement arrived at between the parties the award is passed to the extent that the OP shall pay Rs.2.20 lac within a period of one month from the date of receipt of above mentioned documents from the complainant. Copy of this order be provided to the parties free of costs. File after its due compilation be consigned to records.
