Present:-     Complainant in person.

                    The complaint is at the admission stage on the ground of territorial jusridiction.  According to the complainant he has taken the policy in question for his car from the opposite parties.  The car of the complainant got fire on 20.03.2015 near Rohtak bypass.  The OP no. 1 has address of Chandigarh and OP no. 2 has address of Karnal, and the car in question got fire at Rohtak.  The Section 11 of the Consumer Protection Act defines the jurisdiction of District Forum.  According to Section 11 of the Consumer Protection Act, a complaint can be filed before the District Forum in whose territorial jurisdiction the opposite party or parties at the time of the institution of the complaint, actually and voluntarily resides or carries on business or has a branch office. From the addresses of the opposite parties given by the complainant in his complaint, none of the opposite party has any office at Bhiwani, nor the cause of action has arisen within the territorial jurisdiction of this District Forum within District Bhiwani.  Keeping in view the legal preposition, we hold that this District Forum has no jurisdiction to try and decide the complaint of the complainant.  Resultantly, the complaint of the complainant is dismissed for want of territorial jurisdiction with the liberty to the complainant to file the fresh complaint before the competent forum/authority.  File be consigned to the record room.
