New India Assurance Company Limited PRESENT: Sh.Mrigank Sharma, Counsel for Complainant. Sh.Navin Kapur, Counsel for OP. Dated the 24th day of August, 2012 ORDER 1. A compromise has been arrived at between the parties with the efforts of Lok Adalat. Sh.Navin Kapur-Counsel for OP has made the following statement, recorded separately:- “The OP offers to pay a sum of Rs.18,000/- to the complainant in full and final settlement of the dispute. The above said amount will be paid within 45 days from today” 2. Sh.Mrigank Sharma-Counsel for Complainant has accepted the offer and made the following statement, recorded separately:- “I have gone through the statement made by Sh.Navin Kapur, Counsel for OP. I accept the offer. The case be disposed of accordingly” 3. In view of the compromise arrived at between the parties, it is ordered that OP shall pay a sum of Rs.18,000/- to the complainant in full and final settlement of the dispute, within 45 days from today, failing which the OP shall be liable to pay the amount alongwith interest @ 18% p.a. from the date of this order till realization. 4. Hence, the complaint is disposed of accordingly. 5. Certified copy of this order be communicated to the parties free of cost. After compliance file be consigned.
