ORDER

Present Revision Petition has been filed against the order dated 1.2.2019, passed by the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Punjab at Chandigarh (hereinafter referred to as “the State Commission”), wherein the Appeal preferred by the Respondents herein has been dismissed and the order dated 28.5.2018 passed by the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Ludhiana (hereinafter referred to as “the District Forum”) has been affirmed.  From perusal of the order of the District Forum, we find that while deciding Consumer Complaint No.350 of 28.5.2018, the District Forum had granted the following relief :

Therefore, as a sequel to the above situation, Complaint allowed in terms that OPs are directed to reimburse all the expenses incurred by the Complainant on treatment under question, but subject to overall ceiling of the treatment amount in private hospitals, for such a surgery, in emergency condition.  That amount after calculation be disbursed by OPs to Complainant within 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of order.  Composite costs of mental harassment and litigation expenses of ₹5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) also allowed in favour of Complainant and against OPs.  Payment of amount of compensation and litigation expenses be made within 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of order.”

The Opposite Parties in the Complaint, who are the Respondents herein, preferred an Appeal before the State Commission.  The State Commission, by the impugned order, had dismissed the Appeal preferred by the Respondents.  The Petitioner, Mr.Sher Singh, has appeared in person.  On a query being made as to whether he had filed any Appeal against the order passed by the District Forum, the answer was in the negative.  That being the position, the Petitioner cannot be said to have any grievance against the order passed by the District Forum, which has been affirmed by the State Commission by the impugned order.  The Revision Petition is wholly misconceived and is dismissed.
