Ashok with version.   When we asked the Op whether he is agreeable to repair the sofa for which he submitted if the complainant provide the rexine sofa cover at his cost, he will repair it without charging any labour and he will re-arrange the Sofa to the satisfaction of the complainant by meeting transportation expenditure.   The learned counsel for the complainant submits that complainant is agreeable to meet the cost of the rexine or supply the rexine on the Op agreeing to do free labour to repair the sofa and also meet the transportation expenditure.

           The Op submits that if the rexine length is 54” width, it requires 20-22 mts approximately, if the legth of the rexine is less, it may require more.   Therefore, the complainant shall provide rexine of his choice of 54” width and provide 20-22 mtrs rexine and Ops shall by using that rexine cover repair the sofa by meeting the total labour charges to the satisfaction of the complainant and also meet the transportation charges of both ways.   With this, we dispose off the complaint as per order below.

O R D E R

             On the complainant providing rexine cover of 20 to 22 mts to the Op, the Op shall use that rexine, repair sofa set to the satisfaction of the complainant by meeting transportation expenditure and deliver the same to the complainant within 3 weeks from the date of furnishing rexine.

         For the above reason, both parties shall bear their own
