ORDER

THIRU. M. MONY, PRESIDENT

 

This complaint has been filed by the complainant against the opposite parties under section 12 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 praying to pay  a sum of Rs.13,50,000/- with interest as compensation for the deficiency in service of the opposite parties who are bent upon denying such handover despite receiving and utterly failing to perform as agreed even after a period of nearly 13 years on some pretext or the other and now by offering refund of Rs.11,07,045/- paid and to pay a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- towards compensation for the mental agony, pain and loss caused by deficiency in service, to pay a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- towards compensation for unfair trade practice with cost of Rs.50,000/- to the complainant.

This case is settled before Mediation Centre.  Hence, this case is dismissed.  Minutes of proceedings dated:27.09.2018 of the Mediation Advisory Centre form part of the order.
