            The complainant has filed this case with prayer  to direct the opp.parties to withdraw the  provisional assessment bill dated.22.9.2014 ,not to disconnect the  power supply given to his house (Consumer No. 203-A-13102/01547699) and  to issue  bill as  per actual  meter reading and receive the  same  from the complainant.

            The complainant  had  filed this  case with prayer  to  direct the opp.parties  to withdraw the  provisional assessment bill dt. 22.9.2014, not to disconnect the power supply  given to his  house (Consumer No. 203-A- 13102/01547699) and to  issue bill as  per  meter reading  and  receive the  same  from the  complainant.

2.         That  he is a bonafied  consumer under the opp.parties  vide Consumer No. 203-A- 13102/01547699  of  domestic category having connected load  of 2 K.W and paying the  up to date rent. On 22.9.2014  opp.party No.2 & 3  served   notice  on her showing  unauthorized  use of  electricity in GPS  from domestic connection and provisionally accessed Rs. 67,853.36 from the   complainant. Despite several  approaches  by the  complainant and  her  husband, she   could  not get  any relief. Due to  such  unnecessary   harassment  she  has approached  this forum.

3.         The  opp.parties  have not  filed  show cause  in this  case.

4.         When the  matter stood thus  both  the  parties filed a  joint  compromise petition on 12.4.2017  with some conditions. Both the  parties have been identified  by  their respective counsels. The  theme of the  compromise petition is  as  follows:-

“The  complainant  shall pay Rs. 19,099.10 towards  arrear  along  with arrear of Rs. 1804.44  ( total Rs. 20,903.5) to the  opp.parties  which  will  cover  towards electric bill upto  March, 2017 and  after that the  opp.parties  shall  issue  the  regular  monthly bill  from April, 2017.After  receiving  the  aforesaid  amount  as final bill the opp.parties shall  issue  money  receipt  forthwith and  convert the  GPS category to  domestic  category immediately”.

  In  view of the  above discussion and  compromise, the  following  order is passed:-

: O  R D E R :

              The  complainant  (Consumer No. 203-A- 13102/01547699  ) shall  deposit Rs. 20,903.54(Rupees Twenty Thousand Nine Hundred three and Fifty-Four paisa) with    the  opp.parties   within 40- days  of this  order as  final  electric  bill upto March, 2017 and the opp.parties shall  receive the same  and  issue receipt  at once  and  convert the GPS connection to  domestic  connection  immediately i.e from April,2017  and  after wards. The opp.parties  can  take the  rent electric  bill  as  per actual  meter  reading henceforth.
