ORDER

1.   Scanned copy of reply and evidence on behalf of OP No.1 have been filed. Two applications, i.e. one application for impleading Oravel Stays Private Limited as OP No.3 and another application for striking of the name of OP No.1, on behalf of OP No.1 have also been filed. Copy given.

2.   At this stage, the parties have settled the dispute. Vide his separate statement, Sh.Gaurav Deep Goel, Counsel for OP No.1 has stated that the matter has been settled between the parties and as per settlement, the OP No.1 shall pay a lumpsum amount of Rs.15,000/- to the complainant within a period of 10 days from today in full and final settlement of the present matter, failing which the OP No.1 shall be liable to pay the aforesaid amount alongwith interest @ 12% p.a. from the date of filing of present consumer complaint. It has been further stated by counsel for OP No.1 that the amount shall be paid to the complainant through NEFT/RTGS, the details of which will be supplied by the complainant to him within two days. Vide his separate statement, the complainant has admitted the aforesaid statement of counsel for OP No.1 and prayed that the complaint be disposed of in terms of aforesaid settlement.

3.   In view of the statements of the parties and in terms of the settlement, the complaint stands disposed of by passing the following order:-

     (i)  The OP No.1 shall pay a lumpsum amount of Rs.15,000/- to the complainant within a period of 10 days     from today i.e. 21.03.2023 in full and final settlement    of the present matter.

     (ii) In case OP No.1 fails to pay the aforesaid amount    within the stipulated period, then OP No.1 shall be   liable to pay the aforesaid amount alongwith interest @ 12% p.a. from the date of filing of present consumer complaint i.e. 22.11.2022 till its realization.

 

4.   The complaint is disposed of accordingly.

5.   Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned.
