JUDGMENT

  1. The present complaint has been filed by the complainant before this commission for the flllowing relief:-
  1. Op be directed to revise the family pension of the complainant according to the rank of the Subedar.
  2. OP be directed to pay compensation Rs.25000/.
  3. Cost of the case be awarded.
  1. Complainant is the wife of Late Subedar Sri Kamal Singh, who retired from army as subedar, Complainant has account No. 3128265543 with the bank and is receiving pension as Sepoy rank. Complainant’s husband had the rank of the Subedar Group C and she should get at least Rs. 7470/ per month but OP is crediting the family pension of the Sepoy.     
  2. Op filed Vakalatnama but did not filed WS.
  3. Complainant has filed his affidavit and papers in support of his pleadings. 
  4.  We have perused the material available on record and heard the parties.
  5. Complainant has sought the relief of issuing direction to the OP bank to revise her family pension. Her husband had retired from army as Subedar. The OP bank is not the concerned department to revise the pension. Complaint  is misconceived and is liable to be dismissed.
  6. Complaint is hereby dismissed.
  7. A copy of this judgment be provided to all the parties as per rule as mandated by Consumer Protection Act, 2019. The judgment be uploaded forthwith on the website of the commission for the perusal of the parties. 
  8.  File be consigned to record room along with a copy of this judgment.
