Present:          Complainant in person with Sh. Ibrahim Rana, Adv.

                       Ms. Rakhi Verma, Adv. for the respondent No.1.

                       (Notice of complaint was not ordered against the respondent No.2&3).

                         

                    During the holding of Lok Adalat, on the verbal request of the complainant and counsel for the respondent No.1, file taken up on today by proponing the date of hearing from 27.10.2023, parties have entered into amicable settlement and the respondent No.1 proposed to make total payment of Rs.73,587/- as full and final settlement, to the complainant within the period of 30 days from today. Complainant who is present before this Commission agreed to the proposal of the respondent No.1. Statement of counsel for the respondent No.1 as well as the complainant recorded.

                    In view of the statement of counsel for the respondent No.1 and the complainant as mentioned hereinbefore, without making any adverse comment on the act and conduct of any of the parties, matter being amicably settled between the parties, the complaint is accepted against the respondent No.1, holding it liable to make payment of Rs.73,587/- (Rupees Seventy Three Thousand Five Hundred Eighty Seven only), to the complainant within the period of one month from the date of order, in default of it, the respondent No.1 shall be liable to pay simple interest @8% per annum from the date of order till actual payment. Reader of this Commission is directed to make necessary entry in the relevant register regarding disposal of this complaint on today.   File be consigned to the records.
