Present:       Complainant with Sh. Suresh Pal Dhanda, Adv.

                    Ms. Rakhi Verma, Adv. for the respondent No.1.

                    (Notice of complaint was not ordered against the respondent No.2).

                    

              This case is taken up on today before Lok Adalat.  With the efforts of this Commission, parties have arrived at amicable settlement. The respondent No.1 agreed to make total payment of Rs.37,467/-in lump sum to the complainant within the period of 30 days from today. Complainant who is present before this Commission agreed to this. His statement as well as statement of counsel for the respondent No.1 recorded.

                   In view of the statement of counsel for the respondent No.1 and the complainant, without touching on the merits of the case and without making any adverse comment on the act and conduct of either of the party, as matter amicably settled between the parties, before the Lok Adalat, the complaint is accepted against the respondent No.1, holding it liable to make payment of Rs.37,467/- (Rupees Thirty Seven Thousand Four Hundred Sixty Seven only) in lump sum to the complainant within the period of one month from the date of order, in default of it, the respondent No.1 shall be liable to pay simple interest @8% per annum from the date of order till actual payment.  File be consigned to the records.
