ORDER

Counsel for the Op has filed version. Complainant, a representative of Op and his counsel are present. Counsel for the Op fairly conceded that there has been a deficiency to some extent on the part of the Op in bouncing cheque though they had been sufficient balance in the account of the complainant and submitted it was because of initial administrative problem and submitted the Op prepared to compensate the complainant for such deficiency. Complainant submits that he has suffered loss in the chit transactions as he had issued cheques towards payment of chit amount as there was delay in payment of chit payment, Chit Organizer has not given the dividend of Rs.400/- and thereby has last it and he also submitted that he leave the issue to this forum for fixing compensation. In the deliberation, Op has offered Rs.5,000/- as damages. Complainant though grumble, forum directed the Op to pay cost of Rs.1,000/-. Hence, the issue is settled for Rs.6,000/- in all. Op within a week from today shall credit Rs.6,000/- to the account of the complainant failing which, he shall pay Rs.2,000/- as damages in the event of default to comply that order. With this complaint is disposed off accordingly.
