                                                JUDGMENT
 
JUSTICE SRI.K.R.UDAYABHANU,PRESIDENT
 
The appellants are the opposite parties in CC.223/08 in the file of CDRF, Kannur. The appellant is under orders to pay a sum of Rs.1,03,650/- towards compensation and Rs.500/- as costs.
 2. The matter relates to the defective tiles supplied to the complainant. It is seen from the order that the opposite parties/appellants remained absent after filing version.
3. The evidence adduced consisted of the Commission report also. The appellants has sought for an opportunity to contest the matter and to examine the Commissioner.
4. In the circumstances, the order of the Forum is set aside on condition that the appellants/opposite parties pay a sum of Rs.7500/- to the complainant towards costs or deposit of the same before the Forum which can be withdrawn by the complainant. On deposit of the amount towards costs, the Forum will permit the opposite parties to contest the matter.
5. The matter   stands posted before the Forum on 12.7.2010.
The office will forward the LCR to the Forum urgently along with the copy of this order.
