2.           The brief facts of the complaint          

 

3.           OP. 1 remained exparte where as Op. 2 filed written version disputing the claim, 

 

4.  Both sides filed evidence affidavit reiterating their respective pleadings and Ex. A-1 to A3 were marked on behalf of the complainant and

 

5.     Having heard both sides and considering the evidence on record, the District Forum vide impugned order allowed the complaint in part directing the Ops 1 and 2 jointly and severally to pay assured sum of Rs.4,90,000/- to the complainant within one month from the date of order together with costs of Rs.1,000/-.

9.    There is no dispute that the complainant’s mother late C. Nagamma, insured her life with the Ops vide policy bearing No. 003005798 called as
