SRI.P.V.JAYARAJAN: PRESIDENT

This is a complaint filed under section 35 of Consumer Protection Act 2019 and the matter stood over to this date for consideration.After hearing the matter the commission passed an order as follows:

This is a complaint filed by the complainant against the opposite party alleging deficiency in service on the part of the opposite party.  After admitting the complaint notice was issued to the opposite party.  After accepting the notice the opposite party entered appearance through counsel and submitted that there is a chance of settlement and requested to refer the matter for mediation and hence the matter was referred to mediation to this date.  After mediation both parties filed a compromise memo with certain conditions.  The compromise memo signed by both parties accepted and recorded.  In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties to the proceedings, we find that this is a fit case to be allowed in terms of compromise.  The compromise memo signed by both parties will form part of the order.     

                        In the result complaint is allowed in terms of compromise.  The compromise memo dated 25/02/2023 will form part of this Order.

A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements be forwarded to the parties free of charge and thereafter the file be consigned to the record room.

Dictated to the Confidential Assistant, transcribed by her, corrected by me and pronounced in the Open Court, this the 25th day of February,  2023.
