Present:-  Complainant in person.

Complainant claimed himself to the owner of house No.4564, Deputy Ganj, Sadar Bazar, Delhi.  According to him the property was having a meter connection in the name of previous tenant for use of domestic purpose.  The complainant took possession of this premises on 01.02.2014 and applied for change of purpose of electricity from domestic to commercial.  He received a bill of Rs.6680/- in April 2014 and subsequently bill of Rs.11,240/- payment of which was made on 28.06.2014.  It is alleged that these bills are incorrect, therefore, he submits that O.P be directed to provide correct bill up to date, as per consumption of the electricity. 

2.     First of all in his complaint itself he has stated that he got the use of electricity connection changed from domestic to commercial, if it is so, he does not qualify to be a consumer.  Nowhere, it has been mention that he is running in commercial activity to earn livelihood, therefore, complainant does not qualify to be consumer.  Secondly, he stated that bill of Rs.6680/- and Rs.11240/- raised by O.P are incorrect, what are the reasons or correctness of bills has not been mentioned.  It is not his case that the meter is running fast.  He has not applied to the O.P to get the meter checked so that it could be said that the meter has been running fast.  It is not his case that the slabs charged in the bills are wrong or the actual consumption shown in the bill is not as per meter reading.  Merely, in the perception of the complainant that bill is excessive is no consumer dispute.  Complaint is therefore, dismissed.  File be consigned to record room.
