None has been appearing on behalf of the complainant since 21.04.16. It is a quite old case. Therefore, we proceed to decide the case on merits.

From the pleadings of the parties and the evidence led by them the facts which stand proved on the record are that the present complaint has been filed on behalf of the complainant against the alleged misuse of electricity supply to the premises of the complainant and  passing of an assessment order U/s 126 of the Electricity Act, 2003. Therefore, in view of the judgment passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in U.P. Power Corporation V/s Anis Ahmad, MANU/SC/0606/2013  (copy of the judgment filed on the record on behalf of the OP), we dismiss the complaint.
