            This case is put up today for consideration of memo dated 2.5.2016 of O.P.No.1 and filing written argument by the complainant and O.P.No.3. We perused the case record and found that the complainant was absent and not filed any steps from dated 3.4.2013 to 7.4.2014. And also the complainant was absent from dated 19.6.2014 to till date and not filed any steps. This is a year old case belongs to the year 2010. This Forum sent notice to the complainant through Registered Post vide this office L.No. 551 dt.27.7.2016 but returned unserved with postal remark “Not known, hence returned to sender”. Neither the complainant nor his advocate found present on repeated calls nor also filed any steps to adjourn the case. The complainant failed to perform her obligatory duty to remain present at the time of hearing as required under Rule 4 sub Rule 8 of the Odisha Consumer Protection Rules, 1987.

            In the result we dismissed the complaint for default of appearance.

            The order is pronounced on this day of 27^th October 2016 under the signature and seal of this Forum. Copy of the order be supplied to the parties free of cost.
