Complainant has filed C.C.Case No. 30/2022 U/s-35 of C.P.Act, 2019 seeking following relief of payment of Rs. 12,09,410/- and Rs. 5,000/- for mental agony and Rs. 2,000/- for cost of litigation. Ops are multi state Co-Operative Society. As per settled principle of law in R.P. No. 4871 of 2012 in case of Ms. Anjana Abraham Chembethil vrs Managing Director, the KWOOTHATTUKULAM Farmers Service Co-Operative bank, it has been held that dispute between the member & society is not a consumer dispute as per the C.P.Act, 2019 and as such this Commission has no jurisdiction to entertain the dispute.
Hence, the present C.C.Case is not maintainable before this Commission and is hereby dismissed. However, the Complainant is at liberty to approach appropriate Forum for redressal of his grievances.
As such we find no merit in this Case and the present C.C.Case No. 30/2022 is hereby dismissed and accordingly disposed off. No order as to cost.
