This case has been filed by the complainant u/s 12 of C. P. Act, 1986 praying for an order directing the OP to return the gold Sitahar which was mortgaged by him with OP-Bank in the gold account No. 14950610010976. He also prayed for Rs.90000/- for mental pain and agony and Rs.5000/- for litigation cost from the OP.
By filing a petition dt. 09.01.2017, the complainant states that the dispute has been amicably settled between the parties as the OP has accepted the claim of the complainant and for that the complainant desires to withdraw the case on full satisfaction.
In this situation we are of the view that we should not stand on the way of the complainant and for that the instant complaint should be disposed of as withdrawn.
Hence,
Ordered
that the Consumer Complaint No. 171/2016 be and the same is hereby disposed of being withdrawn.
There will be no order as to cost.
Let a plain copy of this order be made available and be supplied free of cost, to each of the parties on contest in person, Ld. Advocate/Agent on record, by hand under proper acknowledgment / be sent forthwith under ordinary post to the concerned parties as per rules, for information and necessary action.
