Today is fixed for S/R. No step is taken by the Complainant. The record shows that no step was taken by the Complainant on 15.07.20, 09.10.20, 11.01.21, 06.05.21, 30.07.21, 29.10.21, 06.04.22, 04.07.22, 29.09.22, 04.01.23, 20.04.23, 05.07.23 and today i.e. on 20.09.23. The case of the Complainant as per materials on record is that the Complainant invested Rs. 1300/- for the period of 60 months in Sahara Credit Co-Opp Society Ltd. Scheme vide Account No. 311022703396. The said account was opened on 30.03.13. The Complainant deposited the amount of Rs. 1300/- as regular basis. The said account was matured on 30.03.19 and after maturity the Complainant went to the office of the OP No.1 and claimed the deposited amount with interest. But the OP No.1 disclosed that the Complainant would get the said amount after few months later. On 10.06.18, the Complainant again went to the office of the OP No.1 and demanded the claim amount. But the OP No.1 was reluctant to pay the claim amount. Thereafter, in several times the Complainant went to the office of the OP and requested them to disburse the claim amount. But the OPs did not take any proper initiative to disburse the claim amount. We peruse the materials on record. In the instant case, the Complaint was admitted on 09.01.20 and notice was ordered to be issued upon the OP. S/R of notice was not received for long period. Such being the position, the Complainant was directed to take fresh steps for issuance of notice upon the OPs. But the Complainant has not been taking steps. So, it is clear that the notice was not served upon the OP due to negligence on the part of the Complainant. Moreover, considering the facts and circumstances of the case we are of the view that the instant case has no merit as the Complainant is not at all interested in the instant case. In view of the matters discussed above we are of the view that the instant case is liable to be dismissed on merit. In the result, the Consumer case fails. Fees paid are correct. Hence, it is Ordered that the complaint Case No. CC/188/2019 be and the same is dismissed on merit against the OP. Let plain copy of this order be supplied free of cost, to each of the parties / Ld.
