Today is fixed for W/V by the OP. But the OP has not filed W/V. The Complainant is found absent on call. The record shows that no step was taken by the Complainant on 08.08.22, 01.12.22, 08.06.23, 17.07.23, 30.10.23 and today i.e. 05.02.24. The case of the Complainant as per materials on record is that the Complainant had made a fixed deposit with the OP amounting to Rs. 11,000/- but since the date of maturity the OP denied to give the matured amount. When the attention of Senior Manager was drawn about the conduct of the OP, he ordered to settle the claim of the Complainant. But the OP is still denying to pay the matured amount along with the interest. We peruse the materials on record. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case we find that the that the Complainant is not at all interested in the instant case as the Complainant took no steps from 08.08.22 to till now. Such being the position, we are of the view that the instant complaint is liable to be dismissed. In the result, the Consumer case fails. Fees paid are correct. Hence, it is Ordered that the complaint Case No. CC/17/2022 be and the same is dismissed on merit against the OP. Let plain copy of this order be supplied free of cost, to each of the parties / Ld. Advocate/Agent on record, by hand /by post under proper acknowledgment as per rules, for information and necessary action.
