                  This is the consumer complaint filed by the complainant Lourembam Nandini Devi and one another under section 12 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 against the Life Insurance Corporation of India of Churachandpur Branch and Divisional Manager(claims) Silchar Divisional Office.

 

                  The case is contested by the opposite party thereby filling their written statement.During the course of proceedings both the parties have come to a compromise and settled the matter out of the court as well as the counsel of the opposite party has summitted a CHEQUE leaf bearing No.008140 dated 22/03.2014 along with a letter addressed to the president to the President , District Forum , Churachandpur for payment of death claim amount of a sum of Rs.2,48,758/-(two lakhs forty eight thousand seven hundred fifty eight) on the life of L.Romio Singh.

                                                                                                     

                      The complainant and her counsel received the said CHEQUE LEAF.

                       Accordingly the case is disposed off.
