Sri Binod Bauri filed a consumer case on 14 Oct 2020 against Branch Manager, LIC of India in the Birbhum Consumer Court. The case no is CC/13/2020 and the judgment uploaded on 09 Mar 2021.
The record is put up today on the strength of the application filed by the OP/LICI. As per previous order No. 06 dated 21/09/2020 OP/LICI submits tow cheques in favour of Binod Bauri bearing cheque Nos. 235395 and 235393 amount of Rs. 2,14,390/(Two Lakh Fourteen Thousand Three Hundred Ninety only) and amount of Rs. 1,01,758/ (One Lakh One Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Eight Only) respectively. These tow cheques are kept withy the record.
The Ld. Advocates of both sides are present. At this stage one application is filed by complainant side by which complainant prays for withdrawal of the case. Complainant is present and Ld. Advocate of complainant is also present. The identification of the complainant is done by his Ld. Advocate on record. Moreover, original Voter Identity Card of the complainant which is produced is verified and compared with the photo copy of the same. At this stage the complainant’s petition for withdrawal of the case peru8sed and considered by us. On due consideration the prayer is allowed. Let, the case be withdrawn for non prosecution of the same. And at the same time both the cheques as noted above are handed over to the complainant. The total value of which is Rs. 3, 16,148/ (Three Lakh Sixteen Thousand One Hundred Forty Eight Only) on proper identification of the Ld. Advocate of the Complainant.
Accordingly the instant case is disposed of.
