This case has been filed by the complainant u/s 12 of C. P. Act, 1986 praying for an order directing the OP to pay compensation of Rs.50000/- due to harassment and for punishment for the OP-Bank due to his illegal measures.
On 21.09.2017, by filing a petition alongwith a letter dated 08.09.2017 addressed to the OP by the complainant, the OP-Bank states that the complainant has stated that he does not want to proceed with case as matter has been settled. Hence, the OP-Bank prays for a direction of dismissal of the case.
The complainant was directed to appear before the Forum today but he has not turned up.
In this situation, we are of the view that the instant complaint should be dismissed being settled voluntarily by the parties on their own accord.
Hence,
Ordered
that the Consumer Complaint No. 111/2017 be and the same is hereby dismissed being settled by the parties.
There will be no order as to cost.
Let a plain copy of this order be made available and be supplied free of cost, to each of the parties on contest in person, Ld. Advocate/Agent on record, by hand under proper acknowledgment / be sent forthwith under ordinary post to the concerned parties as per rules, for information and necessary action.
