JUDGEMENT

 

          The present complaint can be disposed of on short ground that a person who books a commercial flat does not come under the category of consumer as defined in section 2(d) of Consumer Protection Act. 

2. The complainant booked one commercial flat having approx. 1008 sq. ft. area on sub-lease basis and paid Rs. 69,39,840/- vide cheque dated 28.01.11 under special payment plan “In one go”.

 

3. The complainant has not made even  an iota of allegation that he booked this space for earning livelihood by means of self employment.

 

4. The complaint is dismissed in limini.

 

Copy of the order be sent to both the parties free of cost.
