ORDER

1. This complaint is filed under section 12 of Consumer Protection Act 1986 and stood over to this date for consideration and this Commission passed the following order.

2.       This is a complaint filed by the complainant against the opposite parties alleging deficiency in service on the part of the opposite parties. When the case came up for consideration on 13/10/2022 both the parties submitted that there is a chance of settlement and hence the matter was referred to settlement talk scheduled to be held on 12/11/2022. On 12/11/2022 both the parties filed a compromise memo stating that the matter is settled for Rs.15,000/- (Rupees fifteen thousand only). According to the settlement the first opposite party has agreed to pay Rs.15,000/- (Rupees fifteen thousand only) to the complainant within 30 days from the date of settlement towards the full and final settlement of the claim made by the complainant in this complaint. The compromise memo signed and filed by the both the parties is accepted and recorded. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties to the proceedings, we find that complaint is to be allowed in terms of the compromise.

               In the result, complaint is allowed. The compromise memo date 12/11/2022 shall form part of this order.

                A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements be forwarded to the parties free of charge and thereafter the file be consigned to the record room.
