Complainant lodged a complaint the Opp.Party for deficiency in service.
2. Case of the complainant in nutshell is that he is a landline subscriber of BSNL for domestic use alongwith Boardband facility and he is the regular prayer of the telephone bill. His telephone line connection was disrupted from 12th December,2013. He had lodged a complaint against the Opp.Party on dt. 19th December,2013 and met his official several times. But, the Opp.Party did not take any attempt to restore the same for which he and his family members faced a lot of problem. Finding no other alternative, lastly he filed a case before this Forum to release his grievance.
3. After receiving the notice of this Forum, the Opp.Party did not appear into the case. Hence he is set ex-parte.
4. We heard the complainant and perused the relevant documents filed by him. At the time of hearing, the complainant filed a petition and submitted that the Opp.Party has already redressed his grievance within 3-4 days after filing of this case and his is also satisfied with that. Complainant’s telephone was disrupted on 12th December,2013. He had lodged a complaint before the Opp.Party on dt. 19th December,2013 and filed this case on dt. 21.01.2014. The complainant admitted that the Opp.Party has redressed his grievance within 3-4 days after filing of this case. The complainant has prayed for compensation. But, we do not feel proper to award any compensation as the Opp.Party has redressed his grievance upto his satisfaction within a short span. Hence, we order as follows:-
O R D E R
That, the complain petition is disposed of on merit on contest against the Opp. parties, but under the circumstances without any cost.
