This complainant’s appeal is directed against the order dated July 05th, 2016 passed by District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Jhajjar (for short ‘District Forum’), whereby complaint filed under Section 12 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 was dismissed.

2.      The grievance of the complainant was that he purchased a laptop make Dell India Private Limited on June 28th, 2014 from M/s Bharat Computers, Jhajjar-opposite party No.1. It was a defective piece. The complainant requested the opposite party No.1 to rectify the defects but to no avail.

3.      Learned counsel for the complainant has candidly stated that the complainant did not lead any evidence to prove that the laptop was the defective piece.

4.      Since, there was no defect in the laptop, so, question of deficiency in service on the part of M/s Dell India Private Limited-opposite party No.2 does not arise.  In view of this, the District Forum has rightly dismissed the complaint. The appeal is also dismissed.
