Heard learned counsel for petitioner, on admission. Respondents, despite issuance of notice have not chosen to contest the proceedings and thus, they are proceeded ex-parte. Brief facts are that respondents moved petitioner-authority for release of domestic electric connection with deposit of Rs.1600/- which did not find favour with petitioner-authority which rejected application raising further demand of Rs.2100/- required under Rajiv Gandhi Scheme launched by Government. Dissatisfied on not releasing electricity connection, respondents moved District Forum filling a complaint which, in its interim order, granted stay directing petitioner-authority to release electricity connection on the basis of deposit made by consumer leaving question of liability of petitioner to raise further demand for release of electricity connection to be adjudicated later on in the proceeding. The petitioner-Corporation dissatisfied by interim order passed by District Forum, moved State Commission by way of appeal. State Commission too, having affirmed order passed by District Forum, dismissed the appeal. Learned counsel appearing for petitioner submits that since deposit of residual amount as raised by petitioner-Corporation has been made by respondents without any protest and electricity connection too has been released, issue raised need not be pursued further. In this view of the matter, the revision petition is accordingly disposed of, as this being infructuous.
