SRI.P.V.JAYARAJAN : PRESIDENT
1. This complaint is filed under section 35 of Consumer Protection Act 2019 and stood over to this date for consideration and this Commission passed the following order.
2. This is a complaint filed by the complainant against the opposite party alleging deficiency in service on the part of the opposite party. After admitting the complaint notice was issued to the opposite party. The opposite party entered appearance and filed written version denying the allegations raised by the complainant. On 06/03/2023 when the case came up for consideration, both the parties submitted that there is a chance of settlement and hence the case was referred for mediation to be held on today. After discussion both the parties entered into a compromise and memo of compromise is also filed before this commission by which the opposite party has agreed to pay Rs. 24,000/- (Rupees twenty four thousand only) to the complainant within two weeks from today. The memo of compromise is accepted and recorded. In view of the compromise arrived at between the parties to the proceedings, we find that this is a fit case to be allowed in terms of compromise.
In the result, the complaint is allowed in terms of compromise. The compromise memo dated 25/03/2023 will form part of this order.
A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements be forwarded to the parties free of charge and thereafter the file be consigned to the record room.
