Complaint under Section 35 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019

                   Today, Shri Vikas Modgill, Manager, Bata India Limited, Ambala City has appeared on behalf of the OP and suffered a statement, which is recorded separately, to the effect that matter has been settled between the parties to the tune of Rs.4,500/-, as full and final settlement. The demand draft of the said amount will be handed over to the complainant within one month from today.  On the other hand, complainant has also suffered a statement, which is recorded separately, to the effect that he has heard the aforesaid statement and agrees with the same and withdraws the present complaint.   

                    In view of the statements suffered by the Shri Vikas Modgill, Manager Bata India Limited, Ambala City on behalf of the OP and the complainant, the present complaint is hereby dismissed as withdrawn. It is made clear that parties shall remain bound by their statement. Certified copy of this order passed in Lok Adalat be supplied to the parties concerned, free of costs, as per rules. File be indexed and consigned to record room, after due compliance
