ORDER

1. This complaint is filed under section 12 of Consumer Protection Act 1986 and stood over to this date for consideration and this Commission passed the following order.

2.       This is a complaint filed by the complainant against the opposite parties alleging deficiency in service on the part of the opposite parties alleging deficiency in service on the part of the opposite parties.  After admitting the complaint, notice was issued to the opposite parties. The opposite parties 1 & 2 entered appearance and filed version. Third opposite party appeared and filed version. When the case came up for consideration on 29/07/2022, the parties to dispute submitted that there is a chance of settlement and hence the matter was referred to the settlement talk to 11/08/2022. On 11/08/2022 the matter was discussed and both the parties agreed to settle the matter for an amount of Rs.17,500/-. When the case came up for consideration on 28/11/2022, the complainant filed a memo stating that he has received Rs.17,500/- from the third opposite party being the settlement amount. The complainant further submitted that in view of the settlement, he is not willing to further proceed with this complaint. The memo filed by the complainant is accepted and recorded. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties to the proceedings, we find that this is a fit case to be dismissed.  

    In the result, the complaint is dismissed as settled. There will be no order as to costs.

             A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements be forwarded to the parties free of charge and thereafter the file be consigned to the record room.
