AWARD

1]        Vide his separate statement recorded on 22.10.2024, the ld.Counsel for the OP stated that the matter has been settled and as per settlement, the OP Company shall make payment of Rs.18,000/- to the complainant within 4 weeks from today which shall be towards full & final settlement of the dispute in the present consumer complaint. He further stated that the due intimation of settlement shall be sent to CIBIL for necessary rectification of the CIBIL record of the complainant in respect of the transaction in dispute. 

2]        The complainant has also stated separately that he admit the aforesaid statement of ld. Counsel for the OP and the Complaint be disposed of accordingly in the Upbhokta Lok Adalat to be held on 26.10.2024.

3]        In view of the statements of the counsels for the OP and complainant with counsel in terms of the settlement, the complaint stands disposed of by passing the following award:-

1. The OP Company is directed to make payment of Rs.18,000/- to the complainant within 4 weeks calculated     from 22.10.2024 and also sent due intimation of     settlement to CIBIL for necessary rectification of the CIBIL record of the complainant in respect of the     transaction in dispute, failing which the OP shall pay the said amount of Rs.18,000/- to the complainant along with interest @9% per annum from 22.10.2024 till the date of payment, apart from sending due intimation of settlement to CIBIL for necessary rectification of the      CIBIL record of the complainant in respect of the transaction in dispute.

4]   The award is accordingly passed.

5]   Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned.
