Today, mater is fixed in National Lok Adalat and Ld. counsel for the opposite party has made the following statement.

“Stated that the matter has been amicbly settled between the parties and the opposite party has received Rs. 7,000/- in cash as settled/ compromised amount from the complainant today and now nothing is due towards the complainant regarding the matter in question.”

          The complainant has made the following statement:-

“Stated that the matter has been amicbly settled between the parties in the compromise I have made payment of Rs. 7,000/- in cash to the opposite party and now nothing is due towards the complainant. No due certificate may be issued to the complainant. I do not want to pruse the present complaint further and same may be dismissed as withdrawn having been compromised.”

          In view of above statements, the present complaint is dismissed as withdrawn having been compromised. The parties are directed to bound by their own statements. Copies of order will be supplied to the parties as per rules. File be consigned to the record room.
