Parveen Goyal vs. Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance

CC No. 266 of 2012.

 

Present: Sh. Vikas Aggarwal, Advocate, counsel for complainant.   

               Sh. Rajiv Kumar Gupta, Advocate, counsel for OP

                

                        Today the case was fixed for arguments. However, parties entered into compromise. Learned counsel for the OP Sh. Rajiv Kumar Gupta, Advocate offered an amount of Rs. 40,000/- (forty thousand only) as full and final settlement and sought 30 days for compliance. On the other hand, counsel for the complainant accepted the offer made by the OP. Statement of both the parties in this regard recorded separately.

                        In view of the statement of both the parties, the present complaint is hereby partly allowed as per compromise. OP Insurance Company is accordingly directed to make the payment of Rs. 40,000/- (forty thousand only)  to the complainant within a period of 30 days failing which the complainant shall be entitled to invoke the jurisdiction of this Forum as per rules. Both the parties shall be bound by their statements recorded separately. Copies of this order be sent to the parties concerned free of costs as per rules. File be consigned to the record room after due compliance.
