ORDER

06.05.16

Per: Justice B.S. Verma, President (Oral):

Heard Sh. Ravi Prakash Agarwal, learned counsel for the appellant on admission.

This appeal under Section 15 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 is directed against the order dated 06.04.2016 passed by the District Forum, Haridwar in consumer complaint No. 575 of 2014, whereby the consumer complaint was allowed and the appellant – opposite party No. 1 was directed to give 10 packets of coarse ground flour (lwth) to the respondent – complainant within a period of one month from the date of the order together with Rs. 1,000/- towards litigation expenses.

The District Forum has passed the impugned order on the basis of averment made by the appellant in para 4 of its written statement filed before the District Forum, wherein it was stated that the appellant is ready to change the packet of coarse ground flour and apart from that, the appellant is also ready to give more packets of coarse ground flour to the respondent.

We are of the view that there is no illegality or infirmity in the impugned order passed by the District Forum and there is no merit in this appeal.  The appeal lacks merit and the same is hereby dismissed at the threshold.  No order as to costs.
