ORDER

This complaint has been filed by Shri Pradeep Kumar against BSES Yamuna Power Limited (OP), under Section 12 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986.

The facts in brief are that the complainant alleged that he was having connection under CA No. 150365654, meter no. 25112684, which was installed by BSES in his premises for which he made a complaint stating that the meter was faulty.  BSES checked the meter and issued a bill for an amount of Rs. 37,325.30.  The bill was said to be excessive and exorbitant.  He prayed for cancellation of this bill.

Reply was filed on behalf of BSES, where they described all the facts.  The same are not repeated for brevity.

Parties led their evidence and during the course of proceedings, OP was directed to file the report in respect of correcting the bill.  They have submitted the bill where ‘0’ amount has been shown.  It has been stated on behalf of OP that they have corrected the bill and the amount has been shown as ‘0’.  Since OP have corrected the bill and have shown Rs. 0, the prayer made by the complainant stands satisfied.

Since OP have corrected the bill and the complainant was not appearing in the case since 24.05.2017, it seems that the complainant was satisfied with the bill.  That being so, his prayer in the complaint stands satisfied.  As his request in the complaint have been accepted by OP, the complaint of the complainant stands dismissed as satisfied.

Copy of the order be supplied to the parties as per rules.

File be consigned to Record Room.
